Why is the name not shown?
Traders choose whether their name and address are published in EOS. Validity is returned either way.
Can I check GB EORI numbers?
No. Since Brexit, GB EORIs are validated by HMRC, not by the EC EOS service. XI EORIs (Northern Ireland) are in EOS.
How many lookups are free?
20 calls per day per IP across api.wsystem.dev, no signup. Then $0.01 per check via x402, $0.10 per batch of 100, or the Apify Actor wsystem/eu-eori-checker at $0.005 per check + $0.005 per run.
What is the format of an EORI number?
